Janet Owers is Information and Publications Officer for Cambridge Architectural Research and has performed a similar role for the Martin Centre for Architectural and Urban Studies, University of Cambridge Department of Architecture.

She has extensive experience of editing and document production and has edited conference proceedings, reports and research papers for CAR and the Martin Centre as well as maintaining specialist libraries and archives. She has acted as consultant to Marcial Echenque & Partners, Cambridge, to establish a planning library.

She has edited CAR Review, and the Bulletin of the Association of Architectural Librarians. She is a member of the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain.
